I was laid off 2 months ago with thousands of coworkers and I’ve never even seen a severance letter let alone been offered severance.
Regarding Twitter’s reduction in force, unfortunately there is no choice when the company is losing over $4M/day. Everyone exited was offered 3 months of severance, which is 50% more than legally required.

Been a whole lot of people laid off over the last couple years who never got anything but a goodbye from their employers and you are whining about not getting paid to leave. Y'all participated in an attack on the 1A rights of Americans so I couldn't care less about your severance

Most people just get released or fired from work and then find a new job or get unemployment. Get some tissue, blow your nose, and get to work finding work.

I just can’t feel much compassion. This is life. My friend who had worked for company over 30 years was released with no severance when most stores closed. You’re young suck it up buttercup. You will find another job.

What have you done to remedy your jobless situation other than whine about it on Twitter?
