What’s a good credit card for travel based rewards if: - I primarily fly Delta - I have excellent credit

it depends on where you spend your money. i love my amex platinum because it gives me delta sky club access and 5x the points on flights and other travel benefits. gold is good if you eat out a lot but doesn’t give you a ton of travel benefits

you can also look into branded airline credit cards like the delta amex reserve which gives you great delta benefits and earns you miles but i like earning points because i can transfer them to other carriers/hotels

sorry to flood your mentions about this. you can also have two credit cards. platinum is great for traveling and then chase preferred for eating out and other things. would just make sure you're using the card and its benefits properly to offset the annual fee.
