There's obviously too much supply in the market. Same thing happening with bananas. Price is still sitting at around $1/kilo wholesale, market is flooded with cheap fruit and we still haven't hit thr spring flush of fruit yet. Prices will drop more

$1 a punnet for strawberries, the farmer would be lucky to clear 10 cents.
