The two are similar in the way that they’re both heartwarming coming of age stories based in the same Creekwood Universe. In the movie though, Simon was struggling to come out to the world. Meanwhile, in the show Victor is struggling with his self identity.

The show is very similar to the movie in tone and narrative motiffs, the characters and their individual personal experiences (and the subsequent explorations of which) are where the story really begins to come into its own.

I think a show like this one is NEEDED in a time like this. This show is all about perspective and I really hope that it opens minds to different issues that we face as a society.

I feel as if Love, Victor makes a strong statement on generational awareness; how past generations can help and work to lay the foundation for kids to (hopefully) experience a safer environment than they were afforded in their formative years, thus passing on that responsibility.

The majority of my heroes happen to identify as queer. I owe so much to the LGBTQ+ community. There’s too many to name, but all my LGBTQ+ friends, family members, @stephenfry, @theferocity, @bejohnce, and obviously @thatonequeen.

the hearse was rainbow and he made a request before that everyone come in bright colors and celebrate his life. it was just amazing to see someone fully accept and celebrate themselves for who they are.

I really can’t wait for my cousin to see the show honestly more than anyone in the world. I wouldn’t be who I am without him and I just want to hear what he thinks.
