Aust Post is an essential public service & as such should not be required to make a profit Other essential services are Banking Health Education Public Transport Roads Airports Etc. Etc. The Aust Fed Govt as issuer of the currency can purchase any of these services free of debt

I live 1km outside the Melbourne Metro zone and Australia Post won't deliver parcels just letters and slips so I can drive 10km to my nearest PO and ask them to bring it to the car because I am an amputee. Great service!

The post office network can be repaired. A National Aust. Post Savings Bank must be facilitated ... urgently. The banks' agenda of CBDC / branch closures / removal of ATMs / #WarOnCash must be fought tooth & nail.
