I guess that’s fair reason we’re in such big debt when you hear the opposition trying to oppose this simple and just proposal. They should never return to the treasury benches.

No wonder they are in Opposition. They cannot understand time lines - 2025 (or) Opposition prefer to play politics when there is no "honest" basis for them to do so. Helen/Voter

The conversation should be about the merit of the proposal. "No mandate" or "broken promises" is a Conservative *trap* that they personally don't honour. The flip side is having to go to an election with a complete manifest of what you're going to do which is used to scare.

The concept of 'broken promise' is ridiculous. A good govt governs according to needs. It is pure political games played by an opposition that does not have any sensible policies to create a fair, creative, economically strong Australia with a cohesive society. #auspol

Who has 3 mil in their Super? None of the middle class techie people I know do, even if they had good Gov wages back in the 80s, that stagnated the last decade like everything else.

The @FinancialReview said yesterday that superannuation balances of $3m+ will be taxed at 30% by the @AlboMP govt, which must have come as a bit of a shock to some. No doubt the 80,000 will be relieved to learn that it's only the income being taxed at 30%, not the balances.

Meanwhile #RobodebtRC is going on.

1. Its not a broken promise. The people will have the opportunity oppose the legislation at the next election prior to it being implemented. 2. Whinging it's "moving the goalposts". Nothing in life remains static. Christ, how do these people run businesses if they don't adapt?
