Not surprising with most commentary focusing on doomsday scenarios ( ABC one of worst offenders) when there are so many solutions and hope for optimism. Imagine the if we changed the narrative to solutions and spoke to the engineers and scientists that will deliver them

What's the carbon footprint of the war in #Ukraine? How many trees will @NATO allies plant to offset its military actions?
Traumatised & paying $$$. Insurance is out of control, billions in taxpayer for cleanups, remedial/emergency assistance all so fossil fuels can funnel wealth out of the country & give politicians a job to go to.
"Research Director Simon Bradshaw says mental health services are ill-equipped to meet the demand, especially in regional and rural areas where climate events are more frequent"...Could someone show me "the science" that proves that climate events favour regional/rural areas?
Amazing how reports from groups like the Climate Council & Australia Institute are treated like objective research on @ABCaustralia. They are partisan players. Imagine how reports would be derided & ignored if they were coming from partisan right wing groups...

Because it’s all based on fake science
Well its a tsunami - you have the rising cost of living with rents/food/necessities being forced up by the RBA's unnecessary interest rate hikes accompanied by the consequences of climate change and previous local and state govt policy around developing housing on flood plains
