Some movies are so fun to watch with a crowd of people and having them get the same experience as you. Nothing like it.

The shared experience with the audience. Watching Breaking Dawn Part 2 might have been fun at my house, but it was a crazy wild experience at the packed theater of screaming and crying fans.

- Big screen - SOUND - Theater nachos - Silenced phone - Audience laughter, gasps, tension - Seeing trailers for movies you never would've heard of (for better or worse) - Leaving the theater floating on cloud 9

Nothing. I'm glad we're exploring immediate home releases.

Sitting in the air-conditioned dark in comfortable seats/recliners. The communal experience. The excitement of the new. Seeing/hanging with friends and fellow film critics.
