I was listening to a prep child reading. He turned the page, studied the picture, looked at the words and said, ‘This is what my mum says’ and in a perfect ‘mum’ voice said, “Pick your shit up!” Actual words...’Pick your shirt up!’ Sent it to his mum, cracked her up.

General chat with a student, I mentioned that my wife lectured Psychology. I then joked that she had taught me to read minds. I then followed up with “that’s nit I nice thing to think about someone”. The look of horror on his face had to be seen to be believed.

Just this week one of my Year 6 boys asked what we were doing after lunch. He then said: ‘please don’t let it be BTN because that’s 20 minutes of my life I’ll never get back’ 🤣🤣🤣
