Easy, for starters to make them fall for it: Carmen, Aida, Magic Flute, Tosca & Turandot. To seal the deal & make it an addiction: Peter Grimes, Elektra, Boris Godunov, Die Walkure & Wozzeck followed by The Lighthouse, Akhanaten, Satyagraha, Nixon in China & Parsifal.

Mozart’s operas are mostly comic, entertaining and the music is pretty darn good and familiar even to new audiences. Aida is pretty spectacular with all the Egyptian stuff, although tragic at the end.
